Tokonkai Shotokan Karate-do is a self-defence orientated club, situated in the coastal resort of Paignton in Devon. We offer training three days a week, with highly professional, licensed black belt instructors. Our instructors hold a clean enhanced CRB check, so you and your family can rest in the knowledge that you are learning your art in a safe and pleasant environment. Our group is expanding; two new dojo in two months!

Tokonkai Karate are very proud to announce to launch of two new locations. In May 2007 we will be opening a new dojo in Exeter, Devon. Lessons will be taught by the Tokonkai Founders, Sensei Dave Floyd and Sensei Angela Giesens. Then from 3rd July 2007 Tokonkai will be expanding further with its new dojo in Bracknell, Berkshire. Tokonkai are proud to welcome Sensei Andy Marriott into our little group, and wish him all the best in building his club. All Tokonkai students are welcome to train in all the dojo for no extra cost!

Congratulations to all the students who passed their kyu grading, held at Paignton Community College, on Saturday 9th June.
